Moorat did a phenomenal job on my make up! She took her time, and answered all my questions! My makeup lasted all day/night without a touch up needed! So worth it!

Moorat is great to work with. She shows up on time, ready to go, and finishes on time too. When you show her photos, she assesses your hair and skin to give you her professional input before proceeding. I first had Moorat do my hair and makeup as a bridesmaid in 2016. I used her for my wedding Mehndi and Grah Shanti Makeup in 2018. She also did my makeup for all events at my sister's wedding in 2019. For those of you complaining about her pricing, she's actually priced quite fairly given her level of experience, training, and products she uses. Of all 8 times I had Moorat do my hair and makeup, I have been happy all 8 times. If you want a stress-free wedding with amazing hair/makeup, please hire her. She also offers private 1:1 make up lessons. I took a basics course with her - she helped me identify which exact products/shades work for my skin. You can't get someone at Sephora to do that for you. Their skin scanner isn't always accurate. And you cannot get this same level of attention in a group class. Moorat's product recommendations, in combination with the technique she taught me, literally changed the way I do make up. I get compliments from total strangers about my make up. All in all, Moorat does a wonderful job in her craft and is super patient when teaching!

I don't think Moorat is as experienced as working with lighter skin. She went a little heavy on my family and I think they looked a little too drag-queeny. I think she could work on having a softer, more natural-looking lip.

I booked Moorat for my mehndi and reception. She was incredibly professional (easy contract, on time) and fun to work with. We discussed my looks and outfits ahead of the events, and we walk through the colors right before she did my hair and make up. I
